EWN - Final Evaluation Report Rock and Ice Climbing Training.
Many greetings! Enclosed you will find the detailed evaluation report for the rock and ice-climbing training 2009 at Empowering Women Nepal.
We are very happy to inform you about our success for the rock climbing wall. It is located 20 minutes from our office. We now have 14 climbs all marked and ready for our trainees and we have made a contract for the rock for 25 years.
Total expense for a rock and ice-climbing training amounted to USD 22,184. Please note that the expense we put in our proposal for clothing and satellite phone was not needed because the Polish volunteer Climbers loaned our trainees all the necessary clothing for this ice-climbing training. Also, this year we had a total of 13 people instead of 15. All these factors brought down our expenses which we plan to use it for our next rock climbing training.
EWN is currently having a rock-climbing training for a week. Today in fact is the last day and we have 11 participants this time. Our local trainer from Kathmandu, an American volunteer and our two female trainees are leading the training.
Hope you are all doing well and that you are happy.
We thank you for your generous support and encouragement. Looking forward to hearing from you soon again.
Kind regards,
Archana of EWN
