UnitingPeople has participated in the construction of the school-shelter of Vittichi with a contribution of $ 1,270. The center was completed some months ago and at the start of the new academic year, 604 children were in attendance in their classrooms.
The municipality contributed to the construction of the center funding part of it, as is the case with all the projects developed by Marianne Sébastien in Bolivia.
Without the existence of this school-shelter, many of the children living in these far-off rural areas, would abandon any prospect of education because of the difficulty to have access to a school. Now they have accommodations at the shelter during the week while attending school and they can spend the week-ends with their families.
Uniting People will continue to assist Marianne and her team with educational materials for the next school year.

Resumen acciones:
Uniting People ha participado en la construcción de la escuela-albergue de Vittichi aportando 1.270$. El centro se terminó hace unos meses y con el inicio del curso escolar 604 niños inaugurarán sus aulas.
En la construcción del centro, como en todos los proyectos que desarrolla Marianne Sébastien en Bolivia, la municipalidad participa aportando parte de los fondos.
Sin el centro y el albergue que se ha logrado construir, muchos de estos niños, de zonas rurales lejanas, optarían por dejar los estudios por las dificultades de acceso que existen. Ahora podrán residir en el albergue durante la semana para asistir a la escuela y pasar los fines de semana junto a su familia.
UnitingPeople colaborará con Marianne y su equipo en facilitar el material escolar para el próximo año escolar
