New developments Satrasaya
Since a few months, we are now rebuiling the present daycare in Satrasaya. The existing walls were irregular, resulting in rats which are eating the drawings and the hand-crafts of the children. Montessori teaching actually needs more space for both playing and teaching while much more can be done by motivating the children in a creative way. The rebuilding of the daycare will provide an enormous improvement. In the pictures you will see how the whole community was involved in rebuilding the new daycare center with the children temporarily eating and learning outside. On April 25 we were able to open the center with a proper celebration from the local community. It was wonderful. It has been now 4 months that I am here...and soon I will return back home to my family in Holland. For sure I will miss my nepalese friends. Thank you all for your support. Rineke.
