Biography
Karen is a celebrated leader in the global criminal defense movement. A former public defender and U.N. Judicial Mentor, she has trained judges and prosecutors and established the first Cambodian arraignment court. In 2000 she started International Bridges for Justice (IBJ) to promote global change in the administration of criminal justice after witnessing violations of the rights of Cambodian citizens. www.ibj.org
