ASDRP: Summary Actions / Resumen Acciones 2009

The project of Paul The Kuma was included in the platform mid 2009. The Salamanca based company, Mester Academy, had donated a number of Mac computers and we arranged for them to be transmitted to ASDRP in order to enable them to start computer workshops. In the end, Paul and his team decided to turn down the equipment as they mostly use PCs, in lieu of the difficulty in finding spare parts for Macs.

Comments

May I correct here that our reason for turning down the MACs computers is because they run in an operating system we are not versed with in Cameroon, and so it will be needless accepting what we will not be able to use. It is not because of the difficulty in finding spare parts.

We will cheerfully accept PCs (P3,P4 etc) whose application programmes run in Windows XP/Me/2000 etc. We will be grateful if other donors understand our needs.
