Impressions from Lee Cherry, volunteer
Lee wote to us about his experience in the centre:
"The school was amazing in the mornings the children were so friendly and
loving. Although I could barely speak any Spanish, I was able to bond with them, as well as the afternoon with the older children. Playing soccer with them showed that although there was a language and mental barrier we all can relate with our feet. When I first got there, i was welcomed and now that I am leaving, I will be sure to make a trip back in the future.
Playing with the children, los patos, and the annoying geese that just want to bite you was really fun and funny. Although I was a volunteer I feel like I have gotten more out of this than I have given, it was a very rewarding experience!"
We would like to thank Lee for the time dedicated to this wonderful project. Some photos follow:

Hey Lee and McKie: Your dad told me about your trip to Peru, he is very proud of you both. I know you had a great time in Peru. All the best as now school nears! Lee
