Firdous Khan Needs a New Prosthetic Leg
This past week we had a visit from a lady who lost her lower leg many years ago, in an accident as a child. See photos. Firdous Khan has a prosthetic leg, but it is rubbing, and causing her painful sores. She needs a new prostheses. She is too old to qualify for assistance through our project partner, Handicap International. She is an example of the adult Kashmiris with disabilities who must get by as best they can, because existing funding focuses on children.
